Overview of 6 days desert tour from Rabat
Your Desert tour in Morocco starts from the Royal city ‘Rabat’ to be continued along the Middel Atlas path reaching the Red city of Marrakech. Crossing over the capital of Ismaili Meknes where you will visit the famous gate Beb Mansour, and from there you go to the Roman heritage Volubilis then you leave to the old city Fez where the oldest university in the world is located. Later, you will stop in the city of lion Ifrane; nearby, you reach the Cedra forest in Azrou. Continuing your tour towards Merzouga via Erfoud & Rissani path. In desert of Merzouga, you will ride camel to the high dunes in North Africa of Erg-Chebbi. Also, you will visit Berber villages in the region. Driving back via Erfoud to reach Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Africa where you will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait- Ben- Hadou and other known kasbahs. At the end of your 6 days journey, you will arrive in Marrakech where your desert tour finished then you will be dropped to the airport on your flight time.

Day 1: Arrival and departure of you desert tour from Rabat
In our first day, we will start our desert tour from royal city Rabat when we met at the airport then we transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time; if you arrive in the Morning, you will have a stroll around the city to visit the must-see sites such as the Royal Palace located at the end of the mechouar (a large beautiful garden), the fortified Oudayas Kasbah, Chellah Gardens, Hassan Tower, and the Mohamed V Mausoleum. And of course, the dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 2 : Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
After having your breakfast at the hotel, we will drive from Rabat towards Fes. Crossing over the Ismaili capital, Meknes, where you will visit the famous Beb (gate) El-Mansour near to the El Hedim Square also called Lamdina Lakdima (the old Medina). Also, you will see the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail, before we leave to Volubilis. Arrival at Volubilis where you will know the Roman heritage Ruins of Volubilis, a world UNESCO heritage site. Around the evening you will be in the old city Fes. Overnight and dinner at the hotel/riad for continuing our desert tour in the next day.
Day 3 : Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga
After visiting the most attractive tourism places in Fes, you will leave to Ifrane, the Little Switzerland of Morocco we will have a stop to take pictures in this beautiful city with the statue of lion. Later, our desert tour will continue to Azrou this wonderful cedar forest and a home to the endangered Barbarian monkeys. You will have the opportunity to take photos for souvenir. Then, lunch will be in Midelt the capital city of apples known with its great restaurant serving delicious recipes. After that, through the middle atlas road we continue our tour to Ziz valley which provide a panoramic view of landscape. Immediately, we will drive towards Erfoud known with its fossil’s products. From the latter, we reach Merzouga where we will have the stay.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi –
that day is dedicated to desert tour in Merzouga and the region. By the sunrise, after your breakfast, you will ride camel towards Erg Chebbi high dunes. Visiting Khamlia village, a Berber small town originally from Mali, where you will listen to Gnawa music and drink Sahraoui’s mint-tea. Also, you will visit some deserted mines and the Oasis of the palm trees in the region. Later, we will go to the village of Rissani, the origin of Alaouite Family (the instant ruler family of Morocco). Here you will visit its big traditional souk (market) so, you will have the opportunity to have souvenirs. After that, you will come back to the Erg Chebbi dunes to attend the charm sunset and watch the stary sky at night.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Todgha Gorges – Dades
Wake up earlier, before our breakfast in desert, we catch the panoramic sunrise. Then, we ride our camels back to the village of Merzouga, where you can have a shower to refresh back. Continuing our desrt tour, we drive via Tafilalt path towards Dades, passing by the canal of irrigation in Jorf, and reaching Todgha Gorges where we will have a stop here and have a walk along the higher gorges. Later, via the thousands kasbahs path, we will cross the valley of roses which located in Kalaat Megouna. Arrival in Dades Valley, where we will stay at one of its beautiful hotels on Mountains. Night and dinner in the site.
Day 6 : Dades – (Morocco’s studio) – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech – end of desrt tour
In the morning, departure to Ouarzazate through skoura. We will have a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirte and the cinema studios of Atlas located in the region of Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa where thousands of movies were shot. Also, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou a UNESCO world heritage site. We continue our tour to reach Taddart where you will have your lunch at a Berber village in a marvelous restaurant. Once, you complete your lunch we will continue to Marrakech the Red city or as it’s known the Behja city. Here your 6 days desert tour ended and we will drop you to the airport according to your flight time.
