13-Day Morocco Tour

Day 1: Marrakech – Chichaoua – Essaouira

Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel, riad, or Marrakech Airport before heading west toward the beautiful coastal city of Essaouira. Along the way, stop to see the famous goats climbing the argan trees, a unique sight found only in Morocco. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore the UNESCO-listed medina, the historic Skala de la Kasbah, the fishing port, and the lively streets filled with local artisans. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel in Essaouira.

Day 2: Essaouira – Agadir – Taroudant

After breakfast, continue your journey along Morocco’s Atlantic coast toward Agadir. Stop at Agadir Oufella for panoramic views overlooking the city and coastline before continuing to Taroudant, often called the “Little Marrakech” because of its impressive ancient walls and vibrant souks. Spend the evening exploring this charming fortified town before your overnight stay with breakfast included.

Day 3: Taroudant – Tiznit – Mirleft

After breakfast, discover the highlights of Taroudant, including Place Assarag and the historic city gates. Continue to Tiznit, renowned throughout Morocco for its traditional Berber silver jewelry and artisan workshops. After lunch, drive to the peaceful seaside town of Mirleft, famous for its beautiful beaches and dramatic Atlantic coastline. Enjoy a relaxing sunset before spending the night in your hotel.

Day 4: Mirleft – Tafraoute

Following breakfast, travel through spectacular landscapes toward Tafraoute, the jewel of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Surrounded by striking pink granite rocks, almond trees, and traditional Berber villages, Tafraoute offers breathtaking scenery and authentic local culture. Explore the famous Painted Rocks, browse the colorful souks, and discover handcrafted jewelry, leather goods, and local products before dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Tafraoute – Aferni – Tazalaght – Issafen – Tata

After breakfast, continue your journey across the beautiful Anti-Atlas Mountains toward Tata. Drive through picturesque valleys, palm groves, and traditional Berber villages while enjoying spectacular desert landscapes. Stop for lunch at a local Berber restaurant before arriving in Tata, a town known for its historic ksours, adobe architecture, and authentic Saharan atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 6: Tata – Tissint – Foum Zguid – Zagora

After breakfast, travel east through magnificent desert scenery toward Zagora. Pass through Tissint and the remote village of Foum Zguid, where you’ll stop for lunch surrounded by impressive desert landscapes. Continue through the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its endless palm groves and traditional kasbahs, before arriving in Zagora. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable riad.

Day 7: Zagora – Oum Jrane – M’Harech – Ouzina – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, explore the oasis town of Zagora before setting off on an exciting off-road adventure through the Sahara Desert. Cross volcanic landscapes, remote Berber villages including Oum Jrane and M’Harech, and enjoy lunch in Ouzina. Continue to Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll spend the night near Morocco’s largest sand dunes.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert Excursion & Luxury Desert Camp

Today is dedicated to discovering the beauty of the Sahara Desert. Explore the golden Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4, visit nomadic Berber families, discover the abandoned M’Fis mines, and experience the unique Gnawa music in Khamlia village. After enjoying a traditional Berber pizza for lunch, return to your hotel to prepare for one of the highlights of your trip—a camel trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp. Watch the spectacular sunset before enjoying dinner, Berber music, and an unforgettable night beneath the stars.

Day 9: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise before returning by camel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Continue to Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty, before visiting Erfoud, famous for its fossils and annual Date Festival. After lunch, explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise over 300 meters high. Continue through beautiful valleys to your hotel in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Dades Valley – Boutaghrar – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, admire the stunning landscapes of Dades Valley before driving off-road to meet a local nomad family and enjoy traditional Moroccan tea. Continue through Boutaghrar and the fragrant Rose Valley to Kalaat M’Gouna, Morocco’s famous City of Roses. Visit the historic Amridil Kasbah in Skoura Oasis before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Overnight at your hotel.

Day 11: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate, including the historic Taourirt Kasbah and the famous Atlas Film Studios, where many international movies have been filmed. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops before returning to Marrakech for your overnight stay.

Day 12: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Enjoy a full day exploring Marrakech with a professional local guide. Visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the colorful Majorelle Garden, and the bustling souks of the Medina. Day 13: Marrakech – Airport Transfer

After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time before we transfer you to Marrakech Airport.
